At The York School in Toronto, students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds are exposed to a unique combination of academic studies, music, art and athletics in Canada's only school accredited to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) at all levels. The TYS community shares a love of learning in an atmosphere where research, critical analysis and the development of problem-solving skills are paramount.
Students at The York School have opportunities to take risks, to voice their opinions and to effect changes within the school environment. Project Brief:
As The York School celebrated its 40th anniversary, the School recognized a need to re-establish its online image and provide the School’s community with a modern communication solution. Their new website would not only need to improve their existing e-communication opportunities, but also it would have to respect the role e-communication has played in the TYS community to date. Eighty20 was easily the partner of choice for The York School.
Results:
The York School's website now communicates the school's distinct voice and image, enhancing the established role that online communication plays in the TYS community. Eighty20's Content Manager allows a number of content authors to collaborate from different campuses and locations to best manage a consistent supply of current information.
The website also connects the school’s online tools, FirstClass and Blackboard, presenting improved communication flow and exposure.
